Odoo ERP for Retail

For retailers that have outgrown separate tills and spreadsheets. Odoo runs every branch on one stock and one price list, and your accounts come out of the same sales.

AzkaTech has set up Odoo for retailers like Izzat Daouk and The Concept, and stays with your team after go-live.

Who it’s for

Who We Set Up Odoo For

Multi-Branch Retailers

Chains that run many stores and need one view of sales and stock.

Showrooms and Furniture Stores

Stores that sell by quotation and deliver or install after the sale.

Beauty and Lifestyle Brands

Brands that sell in their own stores and want to know their customers.

Retail and Wholesale Traders

Traders that sell over the counter and supply other businesses as well.

The problem

What Problems Does an ERP for Retail Solve?

01

Each Branch on Its Own Till

Every store closes its day separately, and head office adds the totals up later by hand.

02

Stock in the Wrong Store

One branch runs out of an item while another has it sitting on the shelf.

03

Prices Typed In by Hand

An offer is entered at each till, and the mistakes reach the customer.

04

Customers You Can’t Recognise

A regular buys in two branches, and nobody sees it is the same person.

01 · Stores and tills

Why Do Store Sales and Head Office Numbers Never Match?

In many retail groups, each branch closes its day on its own till system. Someone sends the totals to head office, and the accountant types them in again. Prices and offers are also entered branch by branch, so the same item can ring up differently in two stores.

With Odoo Point of Sale, every branch sells on the same products and the same price list. An offer is set once at head office and applies in every store. When a branch closes its till, the day’s sales and payments go into the accounts with no retyping.

Izzat Daouk runs more than 20 branches in Lebanon. With AzkaTech, its stores moved onto Odoo Point of Sale, with a loyalty program and several ways to pay.

Who it’s for

Store managers and finance teams.

Outcome

Head office sees each branch’s sales the same day, at the right prices.

02 · Stock across branches

Which Branch Has the Item Your Customer Wants?

A customer asks for an item and the shelf is empty. The salesperson has to phone other branches to find it. Meanwhile the same item sits unsold somewhere else, and before each season nobody is sure what to send where.

Odoo shows the stock of every branch and warehouse on one screen, updated with each sale. Staff can see which store has the item and ask for a transfer. A minimum level is set for each branch, so Odoo suggests what to restock before the shelf is empty.

At Izzat Daouk, the team now looks at each warehouse on its own and adjusts stock levels ahead of seasonal demand.

Who it’s for

Branch managers and buyers.

Outcome

Fewer lost sales, and less stock sitting in the wrong place.

03 · Showroom sales

Where Do Showroom Orders Get Lost Before Delivery?

Selling furniture or other large items is not a quick scan at a till. The customer chooses options with a salesperson and gets a quotation, and the item is often ordered from the supplier after they pay. When the quote and the delivery sit in different tools, orders arrive late or with the wrong options.

In Odoo, the quotation becomes the order, and the order starts the purchase and the delivery. The salesperson builds the quote with the customer, with product photos and the agreed price. Delivery and installation are then planned against the same order.

For The Concept, a furniture showroom in Beirut, AzkaTech set up a tablet screen where sales staff show products and build quotations with the customer. Purchasing now starts from the sales order.

Who it’s for

Showroom sales teams and operations.

Outcome

Each order is delivered as it was quoted, and you see what every salesperson has open.

04 · Customers and loyalty

Do You Know Which Customers Come Back?

Most retailers know what they sold but not who bought it. Purchase history sits in the till and contacts sit in a separate marketing tool. So the same message goes out to everyone, and nobody can tell if a campaign brought in sales.

Odoo keeps each customer’s purchases and loyalty points on one record, across every branch. You can pick a group of customers, such as those who have not bought for a while, and send them an offer by email or WhatsApp. You then see who opened it and who came back.

Sleep Comfort uses Odoo with AzkaTech for its customer records and its campaigns, connected to the Oracle system it already had.

Who it’s for

Marketing and customer service teams.

Outcome

You see which offers bring customers back.

More of the Business in One System

Online Store

Odoo has its own online shop that sells out of the same stock as your branches. A shop you already run can be connected through Odoo integration.

Two Currencies at the Till

AzkaTech sets up tills that take LBP and USD on the same sale. Read about Odoo Point of Sale.

Wholesale Beside Retail

Trade customers buy on their own price lists, out of the same stock. AllGlass, a retail and wholesale trader in Beirut, runs its purchasing and deliveries in Odoo.

Several Companies in One Group

Each company keeps its own accounts, and the group gets combined reports. Izzat Daouk runs its retail and distribution companies this way.

Store Staff and Payroll

Attendance and payroll for store staff sit in the same system as sales.
