For contractors that run their projects on spreadsheets and separate systems. Odoo ties every purchase and every hour to the project it belongs to, so you see the cost of each job while it is running.
AzkaTech has set up Odoo for contractors like Combined General and ABP Contractors, and stays with your team after go-live.
Official Odoo Gold Partner. Implementing Odoo since 2015.

Who it’s for
Companies that build for clients and run several sites at once.
Teams that take over a building shell and deliver the finished interior.
Groups that supply materials and carry out contracts under one name.
Companies that rent out heavy machinery and keep it running.
The problem
The project manager learns the job went over budget after it is finished.
Materials are asked for by call or message, and nobody links them to a project.
Progress claims are built in Excel, and extra work is left out.
Machines move between sites, and service dates are missed.
01 · Project budgets and costs
A construction project earns its margin or loses it on site. Costs come in through supplier bills and subcontractor invoices, and through the hours of your own crews. When each of these sits in a different file, the project manager finds out about an overrun when the job is nearly done.
In Odoo, every project has its own budget, and each cost lands on the project when it happens. Purchase orders and subcontractor bills carry the project on them, and crew hours are logged against it. The project screen shows budget next to actual cost.
AzkaTech sets up the cost lines to match the way you price a tender, so the budget and the bid can be compared line by line.
Who it’s for
Project managers and cost controllers.
Outcome
You know which projects are losing money while there is still time to act.

02 · Site materials and purchasing
On most sites, a foreman asks for materials by phone or message. Purchasing does not know which project the request is for, or if anyone approved it. The same item gets ordered twice, while another site has it lying unused.
In Odoo, a site request is raised against the project and approved before anything is ordered. Each site is its own stock location, so you see what is already there and can move it to where it is needed. Deliveries are received on site against the order.
Combined General, a trading and contracting company in Kuwait with more than 500 employees, works on Odoo with AzkaTech. Its inventory was adjusted to the way the company works, and its scaffolding is tracked in a dedicated module.
Who it’s for
Site engineers and purchasing teams.
Outcome
Materials are ordered once, for the right project.
03 · Progress billing
Contractors are paid as the work advances. Each claim has to show the work done this period and take off the advance already received. The client also holds back a retention. Built by hand in Excel, claims go out late, and extra work agreed on site is forgotten.
Odoo holds the contract with its quantities, and invoices each stage as it is completed. The advance payment is deducted by the system. Extra work is added to the same contract, so it is billed with the next claim.
Retention and certificate layouts differ between clients, so AzkaTech sets these up during the project to match your contracts.
Who it’s for
Contracts managers and finance teams.
Outcome
Claims go out on time and include everything you did.

04 · Equipment and maintenance
Machines and tools move between sites all the time, and each one needs servicing on schedule. Without one record, a machine sits idle on one site while another site rents the same thing.
Odoo keeps a record for each piece of equipment, with its location and its service plan. Maintenance is scheduled ahead, and repairs are logged with their cost. If you rent equipment out, the rental order and its invoice are in the same system.
Rockbridge Overseas sells and rents heavy equipment and repairs machinery. With AzkaTech, its stock and its repair projects run in one Odoo, with loading and delivery tracked as well.
Who it’s for
Plant managers and maintenance teams.
Outcome
Fewer breakdowns on site, and you know what each machine costs to run.
How it works
Attendance and payroll for site crews run in the same system. ABP Contractors manages around 250 employees with AzkaTech’s HR setup in Odoo.
Each subcontract is an order against the project. Their bills are checked against it before payment.
Follow each bid in Odoo CRM until it is won or lost.
Each project and each company keeps its own numbers, and management sees them side by side.
Planned visits for clients are scheduled and sent to technicians on their phones.
Implementation
AzkaTech uses AI in every phase of the Odoo project, and it stays in use after go-live.
AI capability · Discovery
We walk through one of your live projects with the people who run it, on site and in the office. AI turns those notes into a clear list of what Odoo needs to cover.
AI capability · Mapping
Your processes are mapped onto Odoo in a fit-gap analysis. AI matches your cost codes and supplier lists to Odoo and flags what is missing.
AI capability · Configuration
We build the solution with standard Odoo first. AI drafts the setup notes, with one short guide for site staff and one for the office.
AI capability · Testing
AI prepares test cases built on a real project, with its purchases and progress claims. Your team runs them in a pilot and signs off before launch.
AI capability · Governance
AI follows open issues and training progress for each project team, so risks show up before launch day.
AI capability · Post Go-Live
After launch, AzkaTech support stays with your team. You also get a knowledge base written around your own setup.
Client proof

Client example · Trading and contracting company in Kuwait
Heavy equipment trading and contracting agency
Rockbridge sells and rents heavy equipment and repairs machinery. Its local system could not keep up with its stock and service work. AzkaTech set up Odoo for its inventory and its repair projects, with loading and delivery tracked in the same system.
