Eight accounting and ERP systems used by Lebanese companies, compared on what matters here: LBP and USD side by side, Ministry of Finance VAT, and support from a team in Lebanon.
The shortlist
by Odoo, implemented in Lebanon by AzkaTech, Odoo Gold Partner
Odoo Accounting runs inside a complete ERP, so sales, purchasing, inventory, point of sale and payroll post their own entries without imports. For Lebanese companies, AzkaTech adds a Lebanese chart of accounts, 11% VAT reports prepared for the Ministry of Finance, USD and LBP ledgers with daily rates and period-end revaluation, and fiscal stamps on documents through our own app. Clients running it today include Hallab 1881, Debbas Group, Sleep Comfort, Wakilni and Toy Market Group.
Best for: Growing trading, retail, food and beverage, distribution and manufacturing companies that want one system for the whole business.
See the full feature tour on our Odoo Accounting page, or read how Hallab 1881 and Debbas Group run on it.
by Oracle, implemented in Lebanon by AzkaTech
NetSuite is Oracle’s cloud ERP, built for companies with several subsidiaries, currencies and reporting lines. Consolidation across entities, intercompany entries and multi-book accounting are its strengths. Lebanese VAT and the USD/LBP setup are configured during implementation.
Best for: Groups with subsidiaries in several countries that need consolidated reporting from day one.

by Potech Consulting, Mkalles
Potech is known in Lebanon as a cybersecurity and IT consultancy, and offers its ERP with accounting and inventory. The vendor highlights updates that follow Ministry of Finance and VAT filing rules, and support for several pricing indices at once for accounting and inventory.
Best for: Larger companies that want a local ERP from a consultancy with a security focus.
by AIMS, Kaslik
AIMS has built ERP software in Lebanon for decades. Socrate Platinum stresses dual charts of accounts, automated statutory tax reports, a budgeting wizard and currency revaluation for volatile markets.
Best for: Companies that keep two charts of accounts and budget closely, such as contractors and traders.
by EDM, Hadath
EDM’s suite is popular with FMCG distributors. Its back office syncs LBP transactions with group operations and connects to fleet management, point of sale and inventory.
Best for: FMCG and food distributors with van sales and fleets.
by Omega Software SAL, Jisr El Wati
Omega is best known in hospitality and retail. Its point of sale lets cashiers take USD and LBP at the day’s rate, handles cards, cheques and wallets, and calculates VAT automatically.
Best for: Restaurants, cafés and retail chains where the till is the centre of the business.
by ACTS, Badaro
ACTS focuses on financial applications aligned with Lebanese accounting standards, including corporate income tax projections and VAT documentation. It also tracks letters of credit, cheques and receivables.
Best for: Importers and traders who manage letters of credit and post-dated cheques.
by Brains, Jdeideh
Brain is a compact system designed for local office networks, with automated offsite backup. It keeps separate LBP and USD ledgers, includes a point of sale and produces the trial balance and general ledger that local auditors ask for.
Best for: Small retailers and shops that prefer software on their own network.

FAQ
There is no single answer for every company. For businesses that want accounting, sales, stock and payroll in one system with Lebanese VAT and USD/LBP built in, Odoo is the strongest all-round choice in 2026. Groups with subsidiaries abroad often fit NetSuite better, while restaurants and small shops may prefer a local point-of-sale-led system such as Omega or Brain.
Odoo Community is free and open source and includes invoicing, bills and payments. It does not include Lebanese VAT reports, bank reconciliation tools or the full financial reports, so most companies use Odoo Enterprise with a local partner for those.
Lebanese VAT is 11%. Odoo set up by AzkaTech, Potech, Socrate Platinum, Omega and ACTS all state support for Lebanese VAT reporting. Whatever you choose, ask for a sample VAT report from a live client before signing.
Cloud removes server costs and works from anywhere, which helps during power and connectivity problems. On-premise keeps data in your office but needs reliable backups. Odoo is one of the few options that offers both, and lets you move between them later.
Most local vendors quote per project. Odoo is licensed per user per month and NetSuite by annual subscription, and both need implementation on top. Budget for the licence, the setup and the first year of support, not the licence alone.
