About Us
At Azkatech, we’re transforming how businesses operate through ERP, AI, and automation. We are looking for an AI-Native Odoo Developer who combines strong Odoo development skills with modern AI-assisted engineering practices.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for developers who leverage AI as a productivity multiplier, not as a replacement for engineering expertise. You’ll work on ERP implementations, custom business solutions, integrations, and AI-enhanced workflows while collaborating with Business Analysts, Consultants, and Project Managers to deliver real business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Customize Odoo Solutions
- Build and maintain custom Odoo modules and features.
- Customize workflows, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces.
- Extend standard Odoo functionality while maintaining upgradeability and scalability.
- Develop integrations with third-party applications and services.
Work in an AI-Native Development Environment
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and AI Agents to accelerate development.
- Generate, review, refactor, and optimize code using AI-assisted workflows.
- Leverage AI for testing, debugging, documentation, and technical analysis.
- Validate and improve AI-generated outputs to ensure production-quality solutions.
Collaborate & Deliver
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work closely with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and AI best practices.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with Odoo development, customization, and module creation.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL, XML, REST APIs, and Git version control.
- Experience with third-party integrations, data migration, and business process automation.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and OWL framework is considered an advantage.
AI-Native Mindset
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and AI-powered development tools.
- Ability to leverage AI to improve development productivity, code quality, and problem-solving efficiency.
- Strong critical thinking and code review capabilities when working with AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI usage, data privacy, security, and governance best practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivery.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have
- Odoo Certification.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud environments.
- Experience with AI agents, automation frameworks, or Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.
